Each February, organizations and institutions across Canada celebrate and honour the history, contributions, and achievements of Black individuals and movements that have shaped and changed our communities for the better.

Join us this year as we continue this recognition through workshops, tea times, mentorship meetups, visual displays and more over the course of the month. Whether you’re interested in learning more about the history of Black legacies, looking to develop skills to improve your allyship, or want to connect with others with shared lived experiences on campus and in the community, there is something for everyone.

The list of events will keep growing over February, so check out MacEwan.ca/BlackHistoryMonth for an up-to-date list of offerings here at MacEwan!
