This faculty learning community is a space for faculty to come together to discuss how AI is impacting their courses, keep up to date on the latest AI developments in higher education, share their own innovative uses of AI, and seek support in addressing some of the teaching challenges AI presents.

The first meeting of AI Faculty Learning Community will consist of a brief overview of the AI tools students are likely to be accessing (beyond just ChatGPT!) and the ways in which AI impacts assessment and outcomes differently across the disciplines. From there, the group will engage in an open discussion and determine topics of interest for future meetings.

Sign up for the first meeting: Thursday, January 16, 9:30-11:00 a.m.

This learning community will meet once a month on a Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. If you would like to join an AI Faculty Learning Community but face scheduling conflicts with this one, please reach out to Geneve Champoux at champouxg@macewan.ca. A second cohort may be arranged if there is enough interest.
