2024 Brain Freeze Festival is BACK on November 27 – internal exhibitors needed!

Who: Hosted by MacEwan University and SAMU, with support from various MacEwan departments.

What: Join us for an afternoon filled with games, music, free food and drinks, axe throwing and a resource fair focused on student wellness. This event invites students to celebrate the end of classes and step into the holiday season. Students are invited to come and blow off some steam and connect with their peers while also learning what educational and mental health resources are available to them for support.

When: Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 3:30–6:30 p.m.

Where: Spread across the kihêw waciston green space and the Elder Jerry Wood Atrium. The event will have a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Exhibitors will be placed indoors for this event.

The ask: We invite your department or organization to participate by creating an interactive booth that engages with students.

  • MacEwan will provide a 5’ x 8’ stall space with one table and two chairs. Additional tables/chairs can be requested through organizers.
  • There will be no fee for you to participate as an exhibitor.
  • All approved exhibitors will receive an orientation document before the event.

Important Information:

    • Participation is limited to internal departments/groups only.
    • Exhibitors must include an interactive element to engage with attendees.
    • All activities must be approved by organizers prior to the event.
    • Sales of any kind are not permitted at exhibitor booths.
    • Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to event coordinators.
