“Every Edmontonian deserves to experience a safe, easy, and reliable trip any time they board a bus or a train.”
Join your classmates, coworkers and faculty members to learn about the City of Edmonton’s transit safety approach and other transit-related items. In addition to this presentation and Q+A, City staff will also be available to chat with you one-on-one about transit service, trip planning, and individual safety.
The City of Edmonton (CoE), in partnership with the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) and Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society will be presenting on this topic and answering your questions.
The safety expo begins at 11 a.m. outside of The Lookout (SA-200). Edmonton Transit System (ETS) representatives and Neighborhood Empowerment Team (NET) members will present from noon to 1 p.m., formally presenting at noon and conducting a Q+A.
SafeWalk, Peer Support, Office of Emergency Management and Security Services will also be available for anyone interested in campus safety in the hours directly before and after the ETS and NET presentation.
