Area 2 – Traffic Shift on 116 Street at 104 Avenue 

On or around September 3, 2024, Marigold crews will be performing road work on the northwest corner of the 116 Street and 104 Avenue intersection.

To accommodate this, traffic on 116 Street between 104 Avenue and 105 Avenue will be shifted east and a single lane in either direction will be maintained.

Pedestrian traffic will be maintained; however, detours may be in place. Please follow project wayfinding signage.

This work will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sundays), however, the traffic pattern will remain in place until the work is complete.

This traffic pattern is expected to last until October 31.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

Drivers:

  • Traffic on 116 Street between 104 Avenue and 105 Avenue will be shifted east.
  • A single lane of traffic in either direction will be maintained on 116 Street between 104 Avenue and 105 Avenue.
  • Turn movements will be maintained.

Pedestrians:

  • Pedestrian traffic will be maintained; temporary detours will be in place.
  • Please observe all project wayfinding signage in the area.

Other impacts:

  • Construction will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.  on Sundays).
  • There will be noise associated with this work. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact to the public.
  • Access to Unity Square will be maintained.
  • This work is expected to last until October 31.
