On or around July 24, Marigold Infrastructure Partners will begin drainage works in the middle of 104 Avenue between 105 Street and 107 Street and at the southeast corner of the 107 Street and 104 Avenue intersection. Work on the north side of 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will continue.

To accommodate this, motorists can expect lane reductions and traffic shifts.

104 Avenue
  • Between 105 Street and 109 Street, traffic will be reduced to two lanes in either direction.
  • Between 105 Street and 107 Street, traffic will be shifted north and south.
  • Between 107 Street and 109 Street, traffic will be shifted south only.
107 Street
  • Traffic on 107 Street is permanently reduced to a single northbound lane.
109 Street
  • Traffic is currently reduced to two lanes in either direction.
  • Traffic is currently shifted west.

Pedestrian access will be maintained; however, detours may be in place. Please follow project wayfinding signage.

Construction will occur during the day (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).

This work is expected to last one week.

104 Avenue between 105 Street and 107 Street – Middle

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

Drivers:

  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 105 Street and 109 Street will be reduced to two lanes in either direction.
  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 105 Street and 107 Street will be shifted north and south.
  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will be shifted south.
  • Traffic on 109 Street will be shifted west.
  • Traffic on 107 Street between 103 Avenue and 104 Avenue is permanently reduced to a single northbound lane.
  • Turn movements will be maintained.

Pedestrians:

  • Pedestrian access will be maintained; however, detours will be in place.
  • Please follow project wayfinding signage.

Other impacts:

  • Construction work will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).
  • There will be noise and vibration associated with this work. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact to the public.
  • Please visit https://www.edmonton.ca/ets/detours-bus-stop-closures for all ETS changes and updates.
  • Access to MacEwan University and MC College will be maintained.
  • This work is expected to last one week.
