On or around March 19, Marigold Infrastructure Partners will begin drainage works in the centre of 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street.

To accommodate this, traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will be shifted north and south away from the work zone. On 104 Avenue two lanes of traffic in either direction will be maintained.

Pedestrian access will be maintained; however, detours may be implemented. Please follow project wayfinding signage.

Construction will occur during the day (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).

This work is expected to last one month.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

Drivers:

  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will be shifted north and south away from the work zone.
  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street has been permanently reduced to two lanes in either direction.

Pedestrians:

  • The east crosswalk across 104 Avenue on 109 Street will be closed. Please use the west crosswalk.
  • Detours will be in place. Please follow project wayfinding signage.

Other impacts for all phases:

  • Construction work will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).
  • There will be noise and vibration associated with this work. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact to the public.
