On or around February 7, 2024, Marigold Infrastructure Partners will begin drainage works on the north side of 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street and in the centre of 109 Street, north of 104 Avenue.

To accommodate this, traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will be shifted south and permanently reduced to two lanes in either direction. On 109 Street, traffic will be shifted outward and will also be reduced to two lanes in either direction. This reduction is temporary.

Pedestrian access will be maintained; however, detours may be implemented. Please follow project wayfinding signage.

Construction will occur during the day (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).

This work is expected to last three weeks. To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

Drivers:
• Traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will be shifted south away from the work zone.
• Traffic on 104 Avenue between 107 Street and 109 Street will be permanently reduced to two lanes in either direction.
•  Traffic on 109 Street at 104 Avenue will be shifted outward and temporarily reduced to two lanes in either direction.
•  Some turn movements will be maintained on 104 Avenue at 109 Street and at 107 Street.
•  Access to MacEwan University at 108 Street will be closed.

Pedestrians:
•  The north crosswalk across 109 Street on 104 Avenue will be closed. Please use the south crosswalk.
•  Detours will be in place. Please follow project wayfinding signage.

Other impacts for all phases:
•  Construction work will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).
•  There will be noise and vibration associated with this work. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact
