Over the past several years, MacEwan University embarked on a journey to support our community, our students and the fight against poverty through our partnership with United Way. Now, as we enter the 2023 United Way campaign, we’re calling on you to stand with us once more.
There is great awareness of the escalated living costs and how it’s created challenges facing many in our community, including MacEwan students. This is why we’re rallying once more to make a difference in our community and help create pathways out of poverty.
Dr. Annette Trimbee, our president and vice-chancellor, encapsulates the essence of this campaign: “When we empower our students and our community to reach their full potential, everyone benefits. This campaign is an opportunity for us to work together to create a lasting impact.”
The heartwarming generosity we’ve witnessed at MacEwan has made a significant impact on our community. Your donations of time, skills, talents and energy have been nothing short of remarkable. Together, we can amplify this spirit of giving to build a stronger community.
We invite you to be part of this transformative journey. By making a contribution to this year’s campaign, you’ll have the chance to support the United Way’s general fund.
Why donate to the United Way?
United Way is dedicated to creating pathways out of poverty through educational support and essential resources. Their programming and services empower people to improve their lives through life empowerment skills and education, providing basic needs, working with children and youth, mental health, EDI and much more.
