Who: This event will be hosted by MacEwan University, SAMU and kihêw waciston, with a number of internal MacEwan departments who will be lending a helping hand and contributing to the planning and execution of the event. 

What: Guests can expect activities and games, music, free food and drinks, an Indigenous vendor market and a resource fair focused on student wellness. This event is meant to celebrate the transition from the end of classes to the holiday season. Students are invited to come and blow off some steam and connect with their peers while also learning what educational and mental health resources are available to them for support.

When: Wednesday, December 6, 4–7 p.m.

Where: Activities will be spread throughout the kihêw waciston green space and Elder Jerry Wood Atrium. The event will have a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Vendors and exhibitors will be placed INDOORS for this event. 

The Ask: We invite your department and or organization to engage with students by presenting an interactive activity or feature at your booth.

To sign up:

  1. Each exhibitor must fill out a digital application form which can be found HERE
  2. 1 x table and 2 x chairs in a 5’ x 8’ stall space will be provided by MacEwan. 
  3. There will be NO FEE for you to participate as an exhibitor.
  4. All approved exhibitors will receive an orientation document before the event. 

Important Information:

  • Exhibitor participation is for internal departments/groups only
  • Exhibitors must have some form of activation at their booth to engage with attendees. 
  • Exhibitors are not allowed to sell any products from their booth. 
  • Event coordinators will require a minimum of 48 hrs for cancellations
