On or around October 20, Marigold Infrastructure Partners will begin drainage works on the north side of 104 Avenue between 122 Street and 110 Street.

To accommodate this work, MacEwan students, staff and faculty will be impacted in the following ways:

Drivers:

  • Traffic on 104 Avenue between 122 Street and 110 Street will be shifted south away from the work zone.
  • Lane reductions will be in place on 104 Avenue between 122 Street and 110 Street.

Pedestrians:

    • Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of 104 Avenue.
    • Alternating crosswalks across 104 Avenue will be maintained.
    • Detours will be in place. Please follow the project wayfinding signage.
    • The bicycle lane on 121 Street between 104 Avenue and 105 Avenue will be closed. Bike access will be maintained in the driving lane.

Other impacts for all phases:

  • Construction work will occur during daytime hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday).
  • There will be noise associated with this work. Every effort will be made to reduce the impact to the public.
  • Please visit https://www.edmonton.ca/ets/detours-bus-stop-closures for all ETS changes and updates.
  • This work is expected to last until Spring 2024. Turn movements will be maintained where access permits.
