The Fees & Financial Aid team at the Office of the University Registrar awarded over $8.2 million in scholarships, awards and bursaries to MacEwan students throughout the 2022/23 academic year. These total numbers include automated entrance scholarships and government grants.
Our team is sincerely grateful for the dedication and involvement of so many faculty and staff members from across the institution. We had a range of participants across the institution with representation from all faculties and schools, as well as following departments: Access and Disability Resources (ARD), Centre for Teaching and Learning, kihêw waciston Student Life, Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education and Response, Wellness & Psychological Services, Financial Services, MacEwan International, and the Office of the University Registrar.

The Office of the University Registrar needs participants each Fall and Winter term to assist in awards selection.
Award selection packages will be shared with participants via SharePoint. You will review the packages independently over the course of two weeks, record your rankings and inform the Fees & Financial Aid team when your selections are complete. Wherever possible, rubrics and guidelines have been created to ensure evaluating applications is as straightforward as possible. The Fees & Financial Aid team is available to assist you throughout this process.
The time commitment is expected to range from two to eight hours; however, this varies based on each participant’s availability. We expect selections to take place from the beginning of November and onwards.
