We’re excited to announce the launch of the Emergency Preparedness Orientation course, which is aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff. Through the course, we hope to equip all members of our community with essential knowledge and tools to effectively respond to emergencies and protect themselves and others.
Prioritizing Safety and Preparedness
Safety and security are paramount concerns for any educational institution, and MacEwan University remains committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. The Emergency Preparedness Orientation course, which is now accessible in mêskanâs, provides important information that will help us all do our part in keeping ourselves and our community safe.
Course Access and Delivery
You can self-enrol in the course using these instructions. The course, which will take around 35 minutes to complete, is followed by a 10-question quiz.
Course Contents and Learning Objectives
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
• How to stay informed during emergencies.
• Effective responses to various emergency situations.
• Personal safety considerations and measures.
• Accessing additional emergency preparedness resources.
