We are thrilled to share the positive impact our recent events have had on our community! As part of our commitment to food security on campus, we joined forces with SAMU and Aramark to provide over 700 items to the SAMU Pantry between December 2022 and April 2023. We are proud to announce that this program will continue throughout the summer as we remain dedicated to supporting the community in any way we can.

Another standout accomplishment was the creation of Griffins Beer, made with honey from our very own MacEwan honeybees. With 28 kegs of beer sold at Towers Pub and Griffins Home games, we were able to donate over $2,000 towards student awards.

Furthermore, we actively participated in Pride Week, where our enthusiastic involvement not only led to an exceptional turnout but also resulted in a significant contribution to the Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity.

Lastly, our ELM Mini Chef Day was a tremendous success, with 30 children participating in the program and enjoying a fun-filled day building their own naan pizzas. Witnessing their smiles and excitement was truly a joy, and we eagerly anticipate providing more opportunities like this in the future.
