The official signing of the collective agreement between the University and the MacEwan Staff Association took place on May 8, 2023 (see photo).
The university negotiating committee included Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science Melike Schalomon, Director of Facilities Operations and Maintenance Stephen Luyendyk, Director of Labour Relations and Employee Services Karen Boros, and Employee and Labour Relations Consultant Samya Burney.
Representing the MSA were Lee-Ann Jeffrey, Ramona Korpan, Celine Miller, Thomas Evans, Jeff Mawson, Harry Oosterhoff and Britany Thiessen. The agreement is in effect until June 30, 2024 and a digital version can be found on the MacEwan Portal.
