mêskanâs Blitz is a series of webinars that are designed to provide instructors with ideas and strategies on how to incorporate different elements of the digital learning environment into their teaching and learning activities.

In the second installment of mêskanâs blitz (February 1 at 12 p.m.), we will look at how to use the Lesson tool to create interactive branching exercises. Students are presented with content, such as text or multimedia, and then based on their responses, they are directed to specific pages. This activity offers the perfect opportunity to engage students in engaging, meaningful activities while sharpening their knowledge and honing their skills.

All Blitz sessions are online during lunch hours. The topics for the rest of the 2023 Winter term are:

  • February 16 – Exploring the different forums available with the Forum tool
  • March 1 – Marking guide vs. rubric
  • March 16 – Assignment grading workflow
  • March 29 – Providing students with accommodations or extra time for exams and tests in mêskanâs
  • April 13 – Removing a bad test question and regrading students’ tests
  • April 26 – Peer review using the Workshop tool

Registration is not required.
