I’d like to welcome David Almond to MacEwan University as the new Interim AVP Information Services and CIO. David brings decades of experience with stellar organizations both public and private. His strengths in strategic planning, transformational change, relationship building and staff development will be assets not only to the ITS group but the entire organization.

I would also like to acknowledge the valuable contributions of Ryan Pede and Charles Smith, who stepped in as co-acting AVPs, Information Services and CIO while still managing their own busy portfolios.

David’s first day at the university will be January 30.  I look forward to having him as the new AVP and working with you all moving forward.
