Washrooms in the Robbins Health Learning Centre, Allard Hall and University Service Centre now have compost bins. We encourage you to use these bins for organic waste, including:
- Paper towels
- Food waste
- Coffee grounds
Waste collected in the bins will be composted at an offsite waste management facility.
The bins are part of a composting pilot project at MacEwan, which is planned to run through the end of April 2023. The composting pilot is part of an overall effort to reduce landfill-bound waste and support sustainable practices on campus.
