This weekend, Edmonton welcomes Play On, Canada’s largest ball hockey tournament, to the downtown core. On September 10 and 11, 104 Avenue in front of campus will be closed as thousands of spectators cheer on the dozens of teams competing for the championship. Our campus will be in the centre of the action with food services and parking open to spectators and competitors alike.

Road closures: September 9-11

Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 104 Avenue between 102 and 109 Streets will be closed, blocking access to that span of campus from the south. At the same time, access to the north parking lots and the City Centre Parkade will be detoured as the intersection at 105 Avenue and 108 Street will be closed to accommodate EPCOR drainage work.

To access campus

Use 101 Street or 109 Street to get to 106 Avenue. From 106 Avenue, you can gain access to campus using 105, 106 or 107 Streets. See the attached map for details.

Access to campus west of 109 Street is unaffected.
