Need help understanding how to put your promotion (or other professional) dossier together? The Provost’s Office invites you to a panel discussion with members of this year’s University Promotion Committee (UPC). Please join us as the UPC members discuss the characteristics of effective documented evidence in a dossier.

Article 10.1.8.1 of the faculty association’s collective agreement states that “it is the Member’s responsibility to provide sufficient evidence in the dossier to support the application.” The article goes on to articulate the necessary parts of a dossier but is silent on how those various parts can be presented to maximize their impact and effectiveness.

Dr. Carla Lam (Provost’s Office) will moderate this informal Q&A session where UPC Committee members share strategies and suggestions based on their recent experience of reviewing 26 promotion applications from across the university.
