Did you know some Blackboard courses has over 10 Gb of content stored? Typically, a course with this much content indicates video files have been uploaded into the course and shared with students.
Uploading a video file into Blackboard and mêskanâs can take a very long time to complete, and students will have to download the entire video fully before they can watch the video. Also, a video file that is shared as a file will give the end-user a duplicate copy of the video, which they are free to distribute and edit.
As a result, we recommend that all videos should be uploaded into Kaltura, the secure streaming media server. Once the video has been added to Kaltura, instructors can easily share it with students in either Blackboard or mêskanâs.
