​I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire university community for an amazing 50th on Fourth Celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and connect with each other.

To our fabulous faculty, staff and students, I am grateful for the many hours of preparation and creative programming – a demonstration of what we are passionate about and the promise we make to our students. Thank you also to those of you who volunteered your time over a jam-packed three days.

I was extremely proud of our wonderful students who showcased their talents through various musical performances, art exhibits, and the illumination of exceptional learning. As a community, we were present in the moment filling our halls with energy and excitement. I was inspired by the stories of our past and how they were brimming with optimism about our future.

I appreciated all the work that went into this milestone event and with the energy and optimism that was evident over the weekend, we are well positioned for our next 50 years of impact.
