Instructors have the option to deliver their courses either on Blackboard Learn or paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs for the Spring/Summer 2022 academic term. Regardless of which learning management system you have chosen to deliver your course, it is always a best practice to give your students a heads-up on where to find your course.

In Blackboard, you can use the Announcement tool to send your students a message, and you can choose to have this announcement message sent to the students’ email address as well. Please see this short video tutorial to learn more about Blackboard’s Announcement tool.

In mêskanâs, a similar tool exists. Please see this PDF tutorial to learn more about mêskanâs’s Announcement function. Or you can send your students an email via mêskanâs’s Quick Mail function.
