In preparation for the LRT tracks to be laid along 104 Avenue, EPCOR has been moving utility infrastructure (sanitary drainage and storm drainage) from the center of the roadway to the edge of the roadway. They are tunneling eastward along 104 avenue in front of Allard Hall and the Robbins Health Learning Centre, and beginning March 1, they will be digging a vertical shaft to extract the tunneling machine near the ETS bus stop between 109 street and 110 street.

The impact to MacEwan University will be minor, with one lane blocked off on 104 avenue (110 street underpass will remain accessible), and the outer MacEwan sidewalk will be barricaded, leaving the inner sidewalk for pedestrian traffic. This work should be completed before April 7.
