For many users, jumping between SharePoint and Outlook is a common, repetitive task. By creating workflows using Power Automate, a user can do the following with  a single click:

  • Post a message to a channel in Teams with a link to the document.
  • Send an email to a user with custom messaging and link, and change the column status of the file.
  • Send a file for approval through email and Teams and change the column status.
