Macintosh users will now be able to update their university desktop/laptop devices to the latest version of MacOS.

Monterey may not support older software or hardware (peripherals/printers). Although ITS has reviewed the update to ensure it will work with MacEwan’s approved software (e.g. Microsoft Office) available through JAMF, it’s up to the user to ensure it will work with non-MacEwan approved software/hardware before installing the upgrade. Check with technology support if you have any concerns.

Upgrading is optional. Instructions for updating can be found on Apple’s web site.
