A biannual test of the MacEwan Alert system will take place on Thursday, November 18. MacEwan Alert notifications are sent across multiple channels in urgent situations that pose a safety or security risk. These notifications are sent automatically to all MacEwan email addresses for current students and employees; however, the fastest way to get the information you need is through both the SAFE@MacEwan app and text message:

  • Download the free SAFE@MacEwan app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices) to ensure that you receive MacEwan Alert push notifications.
  • Sign up for MacEwan Alert text notifications by texting MACEWAN to 723389.
