In these uncertain times, taking care of our mental health is of vital importance. One way to take care of ourselves is by learning more about how to recognize and cultivate mental wellbeing.
The Working Mind is a virtual program designed to address and promote mental health and reduce mental illness stigma in the workplace. There are two upcoming offerings of this program, one for leaders with direct reports and another for MacEwan faculty, staff, and out-of-scope team members.
In both sessions, you will learn:
- Facts about mental health
- How to develop the ability to recognize symptoms of declining mental health in yourself and others
- How to enhance your capacity for self-care
- How you can support the creation of workplace well being and health
For the leader session, you will also learn about:
- Tools, policies, resources and practices for supporting your employees
The Leader Session consists of four modules offered over three days
- Module 1 – Tuesday, September 28, 1–2:30 p.m.
- Module 2 – Wednesday, September 29, 1–2:30 p.m.
- Modules 3 and 4 – Friday, October 1, 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
