Need funding to get your research off the ground? The Office of Research Services supports faculty-driven and student-engaged research through a variety of internally funded grants, awards and fellowships.

The following internal grants opened on July 1, 2021 and will close on October 1, 2021.

  • Dissemination Grants: These grants support faculty with the cost of presenting at a variety of events
  • Strategic Research Grants: For faculty who are interested in developing interdisciplinary partnerships
  • SSHRC Institutional Grants (SIGs): SIG funds are intended to help strengthen research excellence in the social sciences and humanities
  • USRI Dissemination Grants: These grants help students cover the cost of attending and presenting at a variety of events and activities

NOTICE: The deadline for the Strategic Research Grant has moved up from mid-November to October 1.
