The Students Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) provides a food hamper service to students in need. The COVID pandemic has been tough on many students with job losses, reduced hours, and more financial strain. Many students were already and in need and this need is increased.
Help us help SAMU with more supports to assist these students in need. Faculty from Nursing and the Nursing Honor Society Chi-Nu (our MacEwan chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International) have set up this GoFundMe to raise funds to assist with this.
We will also be collecting physical food and hygiene supply donations on Saturday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a drive-through donation event to be held in the roadway between the Robbins Health Learning Centre Pavillion and Allard Hall (110 st. and 104 ave.).
Please help us help MacEwan Students. Funds will be used by the SAMU Food Hamper program to purchase the items that are most needed. Thank you for helping MacEwan students meet their own basic needs so they can better focus on learning and their future.
