Barre is a specific style of group fitness incorporates strength, flexibility, balance and grace. Movements in Barre mimic postures and positions that stem from dance. They are designed to created long, lean muscles and a firm core that is iconic of professional ballerinas.

Now, for all of you newbies, it is very important to understand that Barre fitness and Ballet are NOT the same. Barre is designed to be inclusive for non-dancers and dancers alike. The instructors are trained to break down the movement simply and provide modifications if necessary.
