Update regarding Career Services and Work-Integrated Learning (formerly Careers & Experience)
In September 2025, the Office of Careers & Experience was restructured. The Career Services portfolio was moved under Student Affairs, while Work-Integrated Learning remains under the Office of Research Services. This new reporting structure ensures that the student-facing operations are consolidated with MacEwan’s network of student support services. Meanwhile, The Office of Work-Integrated Learning, including Business Co-op, will continue to work with faculty and staff to support work-integrated learning opportunities across the institutions.
Please continue to send your students to Career Services for career planning, resumes, interview preparation and employment events. Additionally, instructors can book in-class presentations on topics ranging from resume review to interview skills on our In-Class Presentation Request Form. We also organize the Career and Grad School Affairs, manage the MacEwan Job board and facilitate employer campus visits. Career Services remains in Building 7, 7-121, and can be reached by email at mycareer@macewan.ca.
The Office of Work-Integrated Learning supports instructors looking to incorporate WIL into their classes by assisting with project design, securing community partners, facilitating presentations, and providing WIL Agreements and other essential documents and templates. Students interested in participating in WIL can also connect with the Office of Work-Integrated Learning to explore their options. Please direct all WIL-related enquiries to wil@macewan.ca.
