To ensure a smooth return to campus, ITS Client Services (formerly Technology Support) recommends returning employees schedule a time to check that their technology is properly connected and ready to use.

A guide is available to help with the transition and  covers steps to take before you return, as well as what to do once you’re on campus including:

  • Bring back everything you require (e.g., cables, monitors)

  • Reset your MacEwan Secure Wi-Fi settings

  • Plan ahead to get the support you need

  • Technology support’s new location

The Return to Campus Technology Guide can be found in the MacEwan Help Centre.

As there may be significant demand for technical support assistance, we encourage users to reach out as soon as possible. Please expect delays and know we’re working as fast as we can. Please note that spare cables, monitors, headsets, etc. are not available — it’s up to the user to return with all necessary equipment.

Live chat (https://www.macewan.ca/techsupportchat) is still the fastest way to receive help from a technician, however, you can also create a ticket through the MacEwan Help Centre or visit us in person at our new location in room 7-292.

Recent improvements to the MacEwan Help Centre (MHC) include a new interface and more advanced search results. Quickly search self-help articles, report a problem, request a service, or see your open tickets. Get started by visiting the MacEwan Help Centre.
