Know a great alum who would be interested in helping shape MacEwan’s future? Encourage them to apply for a position with the Alumni Advisory Council.

The Alumni Office is seeking three enthusiastic alumni leaders to serve on the Alumni Advisory Council starting September 2021 for a two-year term. Meeting five times a year, council members work to represent the voices of over 80,000 MacEwan alumni, offering guidance on the university’s alumni engagement activities and programming in the following ways:

  • Advancing alumni engagement activities and events
  • Supporting MacEwan students and enhancing their learning experience
  • Encouraging alumni to get connected with the university and each other
  • Supporting the university as mentors, donors and volunteers

We’re looking for engaged alumni who possess experience in board leadership, volunteer and community engagement, and communications from the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications
  • Faculty of Arts and Science
  • School of Continuing Education
