Call for Presenters

Celebration of Teaching and Learning Day 2021: Resilience

The online Celebration of Teaching and Learning Day takes place on Thursday, August 26. We are calling for session presenters with topics connected to the day’s theme of resilience to complete the lineup for what promises to be a rich day of learning and inspiration.

Resilience:

  1. The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
  2. The ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity.

During this extraordinary year of challenges, MacEwan faculty have displayed tremendous resilience in pivoting from face-to-face classroom teaching to the online environment, adjusting their teaching approaches to the requirements of virtual delivery, maintaining continuity, and dealing with dynamic settings. This celebratory day we would like to pause to reflect and share what was learned and how our pedagogies may have changed for the future.

Please click here to submit a session proposal.

The deadline for proposals is July 16 and you will receive confirmation for your session in early July. Please contact teaching@macewan.ca with any questions.
