Learn how to improve your online courses with these blitz sessions!

The new eLearning Professional Development Series offers some quick sessions that look at key principles or practices used in online learning. These sessions are short (under 12 minutes) and available to watch any time starting May 17 via eLearning’s streaming media channel. There will be more sessions to come!

1. Design Principles in Online Learning
In this session we will be covering the basic principles of design. We will do a walk-through on colour theory, typography and page layout. You will learn some tips and tricks on how to create online content that looks eye catching and professional.

2. Supporting Students with their Technical Issues
In this session you will learn some technical best practices for attending or hosting a Collaborate Ultra session as well as administering a test in Blackboard.

3. Why Should I Care About Streaming Media?
In this session, we will explain what streaming media is, how streaming media is different from non-streaming, and when to use streaming media in your online courses.
