Sexual Violence Support Guide Training – August 13 & 15

Submitted by on 2019/06/12 – 8:30 am

You are invited to attend our upcoming Sexual Violence Support Guide (SVSG) training. The SVSG program is an initiative of the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education and Response and Wellness and Psychological Services that involves MacEwan faculty and staff as partners in our institutional efforts to address sexual violence.

We invite our MacEwan community members to take part in this training which aims to help staff and faculty:

  • Understand sexual violence as a pressing social issue and public health concern
  • Know how respond to a student or colleague who is seeking support, information, or resources after an experience of sexual violence
  • Engage as allies in the prevention of sexual violence

See the pdf for details about the SVSG training, or register now. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
