Assisting Sikh students: Session for faculty and staff – Apr. 23

Submitted by on 2019/04/17 – 8:30 am

Approximately 60 per cent of MacEwan’s international students are from India and many of our Indian students practice the Sikh faith.

MacEwan International and the World Sikh Organization are pleased to present a session on “Assisting Sikh Students: Best Practices Inside and Outside the Classroom.” The presentation will share cultural norms for Sikh students and will be followed by a Q&A session.

This session will be held April 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Room 9-101.

All faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to attend.
