Career support for students

Submitted by on 2020/04/01 – 8:30 am

Career Development and Experiential Learning (CDEL) is offering their career appointments through Google Meet or by phone. Students and alumni can book an appointment on for career planning, job search, graduate and professional school planning, resume and cover letter review, LinkedIn profile review and interview practice.

In addition to our appointments, CDEL continues to offer digital resume reviews. Students and alumni can email a digital copy of their resume (Word document or PDF) to and let us know the types of jobs they are looking for and any concerns they have about their resume. A recorded video message with tips for improving it will be sent within a few days.

CDEL’s “Navigating my Career Journey,” an online career development program, can be accessed by students through self-enrolling on Blackboard Learn. For career assessments, students and alumni can email to gain access to TypeFocus, an online personality type and career assessment resources platform.
