New schedule: The Working Mind

A safe environment that promotes mental health enables all of us to thrive at work. Education is an important first step to create this environment at MacEwan. The Working Mind is a half-day program designed to address and promote mental health and reduce the stigma of mental illness in a workplace setting. It has been offered at MacEwan since January 2019 for all MacEwan faculty, staff and out-of-scope team members.

In this session you will learn:

  • Facts about mental health
  • How to develop the ability to recognize symptoms of declining mental health in yourself and other
  • How to enhance your own ability for self care
  • How you can support the creation of workplace well being and health
