Sustainable stationery: Donate new and gently used office products – April 11-24

Submitted by on 2018/04/11 – 8:30 am

Introducing the Stationary Stationery Station: A waste diversion school supply drive! MacEwan University’s Office of Sustainability volunteers are asking for stationery donations from April 9-24. The aim of this initiative is to divert gently used or new school supplies from landfills to students. The stationery that is collected will be available at a low cost for students on May 1, just in time for the spring session. Everyone is encouraged to donate supplies at one of our drop off locations:

  • Sam Centre Spaces
  • MacEwan International
  • Library

We are accepting the following items:

  • Pens and pencils
  • Erasers
  • Binders
  • Coil notebooks
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Laptop and phone cases
  • Post it notes
  • Index Cards
  • Dividers

Funds raised will support MacEwan Sustainability Volunteer projects, including, but not limited to: workshops, tours and other community engagement initiatives.

Thank you for supporting students, the Office of Sustainability, and the diversion of more waste to landfills!
