Faculty and staff seasonal flu immunization clinics at MacEwan University
Flu vaccination clinics continue to take place at City Centre Campus. There is no need to book an appointment – clinics are operated on a drop-in basis. Vaccinations are free for all staff and faculty.
You must bring your MacEwan identification card and Alberta Health Care Card. Please direct any questions to email@example.com.
Annual vaccination is the best way to reduce the impact of influenza on you and your family. The best time to receive a flu vaccine is in the fall, before flu season starts. The vaccine cannot cause the flu and most people have little or no reaction to it. A new vaccine is made each year to provide protection against the virus most likely to cause illness in that year. Protection begins approximately 10 to 14 days after vaccination and lasts approximately four to six months.
